Which was the first Disney film to use CGI technology?
Was it Beauty and the Beast (ballroom scene), or Aladdin (The Cave of Wonders)?
Actually the first film from Disney to use computer generated imagery was Tron from 1982.
Edit: Green toy soldier is right about the Black hole using a computer generated sequence for the opening of the film but it wasn't presented as the image of the black hole just a graphic representation of the black hole (lines and graphs) on a ship's computer.
