Bleaching Hair Blonde
Have the golden tinge of blonde hair ever made you feel jealous? Have you ever thought of giving up your brown or black shades to go completely blonde, but are reluctant to take the possible risks? Going from brown to blonde is quite a big change and is a bold step to take. You might take few days to get used to your new look, but if the colour comes out perfect it is worth a trial. However, this thrilling experiment does not come without any risk. Your bleaching experiment might turn out to be an epic disaster leaving you unrecognisable with uneven shades of orange and red and might also levy heavy damage to your hair texture. This is the reason why the best of hair dressers put down your offer of bleaching your hair blonde, and even if some do, they charge you a fortune for it. However, if you are confident enough and take up all the responsibility of your trial, these tips on bleaching your hair blonde might help you take safe steps towards your endeavour.
How To Bleach Hair Blonde
Things Required
- Old clothing
- Plastic gloves
- Powdered hair bleach
- Plastic dish and plastic spoon
- Hair dryer
- Hair peroxide
- Deep conditioning mask
- Towels and washcloths
Procedure
- While sitting to bleach your hair blonde, put on some old set of clothes which you don't mind staining. Also make it a point to put on a pair of gloves in order to protect your skin from harsh burning effects of chemical composition of hair bleach.
- Make use of a good quality product that also offers an option of consumer help. Check the bleach kit for a consumer help number and then only purchase the bleach. Combine one part of hair peroxide with one part of powdered hair bleach in a plastic bowl with the help of a plastic spoon.
- Once you have mixed the bleach, start applying it to your hair. Begin with the hair on the back of your head and apply the bleach in the direction from the tip to the scalp. It is advisable to section off your hair in ½ inch bunches and bleach one bunch at a time.
- Be careful not to get bleach on your face or scalp. While applying bleach if you accidently touch your face or scalp, wipe it off using a wet towel immediately. One way in which you can protect your skin is by applying Vaseline or hair conditioner along the edge of your hair line. Vaseline or hair conditioner will act as a barrier between bleach and your skin.
- Collect your hair together and pile it all on the top of your head. Put the shower cap and blow dry your hair all over to keep the bleach warm. Rinse out your hair after 10-15 minutes of heating. After rinsing out the bleach if you notice that your hair has not received the desired shade, you can repeat the process after few days. If after bleaching your hair is brittle or is falling, stop combing your hair to minimize the damage.
- You might notice traces of red or orange in your hair after bleaching for which you can use toners after waiting for few days. Make sure that you follow the instructions properly before applying the toner on your hair. Using a good toner will remove any remaining auburn shades, but there is a risk that it might leave it weak and dry.
- Rinse out the toner and coat your hair with a layer of deep conditioning mask. Let the conditioning mask to set for 20-30 minutes and then rinse it out. You will have to condition your hair daily to make sure that it recovers its former glory.
Basic Tips
- If you want to maintain the blonde colour you will have to get the bleach every 4-5 weeks.
- Use the deep conditioning treatment frequently in order to ensure the health of your hair.
- If you are not satisfied with the colour of your hair after the first attempt, wait for 24 hours and then bleach the bits you missed out or that are orange.
- If after the second attempt, you are still not happy with the result, purchase a quality toner to fix your hair colour.

The Lexus is an ugly car that hasn't changed much since it was introduced, the Nissan 350z is a nice go kart, but not up there with collectibles, the BMW is nice but isn't really exclusive enough to be a collectible either, I wouldn't mind a Benz 280 or 350 SLX, but to keep as a collectible I'd have to go with the Porsche.
