Hello there I need help!!!! crocheting pattern in rounds for a skirt?
Hello there
I need help!!!! I am new to crocheting and everything works fine. Just when I want to crochet a sort of shell pattern or cluster pattern in a round it seems to get bigger and bigger all the time (I crochet doll clothes and I do not want the skirts to get that big). It also seems that the stitches are not decreasing there is not one cluster more at the end of several rows. What do I do wrong? I opened it more then 20 times by now please help! thank you so much in advance

Where you didn't give a reference for the pattern or size doll you are making skirt for ... it's hard to make suggestions; but perhaps if you take a look at another pattern. Perhaps there is an error in the pattern you are using. If you look at the picture of the dress at this link (and a pattern is provided), you can see that on the arm bands, and the last row of pink before they change to the other color, there is a row of shells. Now, with the skirt you are making, depending upon where you are connecting your shells (as well as your tension), you could be making your skirt larger and larger with each subsequent round. Can you provide additional details and provide a two or three rows of the instructions. It would help us to give you some direction.
