Cheerleading Fundraising Ideas

When raising funds for Cheerleading, there are a countless ways to go through it. You have to pick an idea that you and your team would actually enjoy working on. It would be a wonderful idea to select something that is out of the ordinary or something with a twist.
Listed below are ideas to help you get started with your fundraising.
You can organize a fashion show for a Cheerleading Fundraiser once a year. Gather your Cheerleading team of girls. Every girl has to wear a couple of outfits. Approach stores that are willing to allow your cheerleaders to model some of their clothes to help promote them. You can collect entrance fees for the show. This would help cover the expenses that you might incur as well as be part of your profit. Don't forget to mention during the show about your organization and thank them for supporting it.
There's nothing better to bring a community together than a sporting affair. You can either turn it into a huge game or make it a shoot-out type tournament. You can charge an entrance fee or registration fees for the participating teams. By doing this you will raise your profit. You can even try to get the prizes donated to you.
You can a have a picnic lunch. You can have people bid on each basket that may contain P&J sandwiches, pasta and etc. It is a fun event and creates a thrill of not knowing what you are bidding on. One classic way to raise funds where you have little or no cost is the Penny drive. You could make the collection of money for a certain span of time. Then the cheerleader that gathers the biggest amount of money, would be given an incentive.
One school, Bishop Blanchet High School, did a fundraiser called "Pig Kiss". They left jars with a picture of each girl participating in the lunch area. The objective was to fill the jar of the cheerleader you wanted to see kiss a pig. At the end of two weeks, the money was counted and they raised $500. The winner had to kiss a pig in front of the school during their homeroom assembly. It turned out to be a humorous and fun cheerleading fundraiser where they did not have to spend a dime.
So whatever idea that you choose, make it cetain that it helps you get to your goal and at the same time is fun. After all, you can have your cake and eat it too.

Where can you buy High School Musical 3 cheerleading outfits?
My cousin and I are fanatic HSM fans and for her birthday I wanted to get her the cheerleading outfit from the "now or never" scene in the 3rd film, could anyone tell me where to get it, bearing in mind she will be 13 so the little kiddlywink ones are no good- thanks!
Well, I don't think you can get the ones from that particular scene. However, you cn get similar ones at the disney store. They have large ones.
