Fitness Clothes That Make You Look Slimmer!

At what age do you start dressing your children up with less cute clothes, and more grown up clothes?
I have a 5 year old daughter who started Kindergarten this past year and I used to buy her really cute clothes, and it seems that now she wants more grown up clothes, which I don't mind.. Less little details, and less cute stuff, but more simple things but pretty things. Is this normal ? I guess it is because she's growing up but I was just wondering if your children ask to pick out their own clothes or atleast if they prefer certain styles ?
It is normal,kids start developing a premature taste for clothing and things like that around the school and preschool age and it should be encouraged-it's good for their self esteem and creativity and it also means that they're idolizing an adult figure that's prominent in their lives-namely mom or dad.:)
My three year old niece Toni likes to dress herself and although she may not also match or sometimes loks crazy,we let her because she's being creative and independent.
