What Barbie Dolls are Collected?
Today there are plenty of toys which children like to play with. As for girls, the number one toy for them is Barbie doll. But we should know that Barbie dolls are popular not only among girls but also among adult people. They are called Barbie collectors and dolls which they gather are called Barbie collector dolls.
Barbie collector dolls are dolls which are released from time to time and are different from the ordinary Barbie dolls which are mass-produced. One of such dolls is Holiday Barbie doll. At first sight you won’t see some obvious differences, but they are. First of all the release of Holiday Barbie dolls is limited and it happens only in the end of the year, that’s why every year Barbie collectors try to catch one of Holiday Barbie dolls. Other peculiarity of these dolls is their clothes. Outfits are very fashionable and sometimes made by well-known fashion designers like Oscar de la Renta or Yves Saint Laurent.
Other example of Barbie collector dolls are Silkstone Barbie dolls. They are made in style of past times. Their dresses are gorgeous and glamorous. These outfits are similar to clothes which were in fashion in 40-ieas and 60-ieas years. Hey also have slanted eyes and hairstyles which were popular on those times. The same can be said about careers. You can find Barbie in images of secretary, fashion model, hostess of women’s club, actress or air hostess.
Another example is hand made porcelain Barbie dolls, which are copies of dolls of past times.

Other than Mattel/Barbie/Silkstone....where can I find some more grown up collectable dolls?
Specifically, Im looking for some AA Princess dolls that are high quallity and high couture, but not "baby dolls" or "plushies".
