Has anyone sent recently any speed post(EMS) from India to USA (USPS)?
I have sent two speed post ( Express Mail International) from Kolkata on Jan 11. one was destined for Wisconsin and the other-one was for California. The Wisconsin one was delivered on Jan 18 , but for the California one there is no info of inbound international arrival after it left Calcutta on Jan 12. The USPS site is only showing status : Foregin International Dispatch and nothing else till today.
In the meantime I have filed a complaint with my local post office. I have mailed another item on Jan 20 but it is also the same case.
I want to know the working status of USPS in United States. I suspect that due to bad weather conditions my package in not getting delivered. If somebody who mailed from kolkata or if you are in United states and you know how USPS in working in these days , please provide some info. I am worried a lot because they were my college application packets .
It could be that it is held up in customs. Hopefully it will get there soon.
