How to Shop for Stripper Outfits

Stripper outfits are available at more places than ever thanks to the power of the Internet, but this comes with its own set of problems.  As we all know, sizing scales for ladies aren't consistent, and that makes shopping on the Internet risky.

Shopping at Lingerie and Adult Stores

Shopping at lingerie and adult stores is a great way to ensure that your stripper clothes actually fit.  You can actually try the garments on before you buy them.  Given the fact that your costumes should be somewhat revealing, it's important that they don't hang loose or fit too snugly, either of which can be a safety hazard on stage.

The major downside to shopping at brick-and-mortar stores is that they don't have as big a selection as you'll find on the Internet.  You may have shopping trips where you don't bring anything home, or you may have to settle for an outfit that you don't care for very much.  
If you're lucky enough to have SUPER sized adult stores in your town, such as the Déjà vu Love Boutique in Las Vegas, or the Texas-sized ones in Houston, or Secret Desires in the Los Angeles area, you could spend ALL DAY trying on amazing outfits!

But buy sparingly – I've bought so many outfits at the store and then when I wear them in the club they aren't as great as I thought, don't fit right, or don't come off very easily.  Be sure to think of all of these things before you buy.

Shopping for Stripper Outfits on the Internet

If having a wide variety of costumes is more your thing, then the Internet is a great place to shop.  Of course, the downside is that you're not assured of a proper fit.  Here are some ideas to help you along.

Aim for the clothes that are made of stretchable material or "one size fits most."  Unless you're really tall or really short, really large or really thin, this should cover your needs.  
If you're more daring and "must have" that school girl outfit, you shouldn't click the purchase button until you're sure that you can fit it.  Some websites have printable tape measures, and most of them have customer support phone numbers.  They may or may not be able to answer your sizing questions, but you won't know either way unless you try.

Shopping at Halloween Stores

Especially if you want to have seasonal stripping outfits, Halloween stores and costume shops are a good place to find stripper outfits.  Naturally, these outfits aren't exactly top quality material, but imagine the tips if you're the only "Sexy Mrs. Claus" or "Sexy Elf" around Christmas time.  You can also typically find nurse outfits, secretary outfits and so many other themes you can use.

What you have to watch out for is that some costumes are easier to take off and put on than others.  If you can, check the zippers, snaps, hooks and buttons before you buy it.  If you have to put too much work into unfastening your outfit, it stands to reason that it's harder to be sexy while doing it.

I have bought a really nice black dress recently with a grey rose printed across the front which i wear with pale grey tights and black bondage type heels, however im never sure of what accessories will fit with this,

i'd wear a grey rose corsage in my har, or black, and some grey and black beaded bracelets....i'd skip the necklace because you don't want to over do it.... maybe a grey or black clutch purse too, ....if the corsage in your hair isn't really your thing you could wear one of those rings with roses on them, they're cutee
