Dr. Martin Harris gets an accident that cause a coma on him for four days in Berlin. As soon as he awakes from coma, he directly goes to his hometown to meet his beloved wife named Elizabeth Harris to clarify what has happened to him. He is afraid that Elizabeth is worried. When he meets his wife in a party, his wife does not recognize him and regard another man as her husband.
Having a fact that his wife regards another man as her husband makes him questions his own mind – who is who, am I crazy, and what is really happening? By being confused and lost, he can do nothing but try to find out how to convince his wife about his true identity. While doing that, he is chased by hitmen. In the run for saving his own life, he feels tired of getting the not yet coming explanation of what happen to him and his wife. Will he be able to uncover the bad guy behind all of this? Does anyone read the "Dark" series by Christine Feehan?
I finished reading Dark Prince last night and to be honest...I was waiting for the ending so I could close it. I dunno....too much sex, not enough romance...Raven was too stubborn and stupid at times...Mikhail way too possessive. It was just blah to me. I want to read Gregori, Aidan, and Jacques' story but I'm hesitant cause it seems they all follow that same pattern. They are having sex every 10 pages and the same adjectives and the same 'methods' and it just got so redundant and I was so dissapointed with the conflict. bah. That is just my opinion though. What is yours?
The books are similar in the way they are written, but I have enjoyed them. Dark Desire (Jacques' story) is my fave of the series so far and the plot was much different than Dark Prince. If you wanted to give the series another shot, that would be the one I would suggest. Especially since it is the next book of the series anyway.
